I hope that you all had a happy and restful Christmas season and send you my very best wishes for the coming year. I will be taking a little time off this month and next after an extremely busy autumn and winter period. A couple of trips to warmer climes and then I will focusing on commissions and some exciting new stock pieces.

In the meantime I am pleased to announce that there will be two

Studio Open Saturdays per month, where all my jewellery will be on display with Glassware by my cousin Colin Hawkins and Paintings by my daughter Cerys Gogerly, who will be manning the Studio and demonstrating her artwork on those days.

January Open Saturdays are 17th and 31st, 11am to 4pm so please do pop in if you are in North Yorkshire.

Other exciting news is the launch of the next Acquire Event:

17th to 20th September

14 selected artisans of jewellery and silversmithing. Curated by my self for high quality of designing and craftsmanship with a preference given to northern makers.

Entrance free

Ticketed Talks on the history of jewellery, silverware and applied arts; curated by Susan Rumfitt ( a regular jewellery specialist on BBC's Antique Roadshow ).

All held in the beautiful Ampleforth Abbey estate, north of York.

Put the dates in your diary for a weekend in North Yorkshire and more details will follow shortly.

My new location is based within a group of artisan studios situated in a converted Victorian Workhouse in a beautiful Nidderdale town.

I have renovated the space to create a large jewellers workshop and an adjoining separate shop and consultation area. In addition to Open Studio days, I am happy to open the shop area for you by appointment. Please email me.

I am available for private appointments to discuss individual commissions and purchases of one off handmade designs from stock. These can be held at my Studio, at your own home or at one my Craft & Designs shows held throughout the year.
